'Spider-Man Brand New Day' Releases Second Trailer

In addition to tickets now being on sale, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have released the second trailer for "Spider-Man Brand New Day."

The trailer, likely to be the last before the movie's July 31 release date, has a central focus on the evolution of Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and the changes going on with his body in connection with his Spider-Man powers. There is a wonderful conversation portrayed in the new trailer between Peter and Dr. Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) regarding mutated DNA that ends with Dr. Banner seemingly figuring out Peter isn't really a student in his class, from an official perspective at least.

There's also an epic moment where we, seemingly, see Dr. Banner completely lose control and Savage Hulk comes out with a commanding thunderclap, for what would be the first time since the opening sequence of Avengers Infinity War all the way back in 2018.

The new trailer also includes new scenes and looks with MJ (Zendaya) and Ned (Jacob Batalon), with Ned even making a comment about MJ and Peter not knowing each other after seeing natural chemistry, not knowing of course (due to the events of "No Way Home") that Peter and MJ not only knew each other but, once upon a time, they even dated one another. There's even a moment where Peter says MJ is in danger and that she has to trust him, which despite reservations about MJ being in this movie at all, it was a great moment.

They also showed very good looks at both Mac Gargan (Michael Mando) and the Hand in action against our Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, with the overall sequences looking grander and better than ever.

That said, one thing that was not showed that surprised a lot of fans is that there was no mention whatsoever, at least on the surface, in regards to who Sadie Sink will play in this movie. There have been rumors circulating since the first trailer came out, but since none can be verified as fact independently by The Caped Panel, we will not be sharing those here.

"Spider-Man Brand New Day" is swinging into theaters July 31, with plenty of surprises still to come when the film releases.
