Spider-Man Brand New Day Official Trailer Released

After having fans debut snippets throughout the day before, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have released the first official trailer for "Spider-Man Brand New Day." Taking place four years after "No Way Home," Peter Parker is now a full-time Spider-Man, which is starting to have major consequences as Peter faces "one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.”
It has been five years since Tom Holland's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man has graced the big screen. The newest adventure is promising a deep dive into the thought process of Peter Parker, as he's navigating his life now that everyone who knew and love them has forgotten who he is.
This time around, Peter will enlist the services of Dr. Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) and Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) as he faces not only a mysterious new threat, but he is also experiencing great changes as he's "hitting a crux point in the spider life cycle.”
Throughout the trailer, there are glimpses of MJ (Zendaya) and Ned (Jacob Batalon), who are expected to have significantly smaller roles than what they had in the first three Tom Holland-led web swinging adventures. In particular in "Brand New Day," MJ appears to be dating a new boyfriend, being played by Eman Esfandi.
There's also a mystery fans are trying to solve, which is locating Sadie Sink in the trailer. Sink reposted the official trailer on her Instagram, officially confirming for the first time she's in the film. However, there is no concrete indication as to who she's playing.
Spider-Man Brand New Day will release July 31, 2026. The film stars Tom Holland (Peter Parker), Jacob Batalon (Ned), Zendaya (Michelle Jones-Watson), Sadie Sink, Mark Ruffalo (Dr. Bruce Banner), Michael Mando (Mac Gargan), Marvin Jones III (Lonnie Lincoln), and others.
