NewsSphere announced today it is entering a slight rebranding, a revamped website, new written series, and more. Founded in 2025, NewsSphere is an up-and-coming destination for reliable and thorough coverage in the entertainment world. Today, NewsSphere reveals the next steps in keeping that vision in-tact.
Effective May 1, 2026, NewsSphere will shift its independent news coverage largely towards the independent side of the music industry, with the ocassional coverage for the big mainstream artists and their major releases. This shift towards once specific area will allow NewsSphere to create more high quality original content without stretching itself thin covering a wide variety of topics. Choosing the independent side of the music industry allows NewsSphere to take the time to give spotlight to the rising stars and the underappreciated end of the music industry.
With this shift will come a different variety of original written and video content. "Before The Stage" will cover up-and-coming independent artists, highlighting their current accomplishments, their plans for the future, and much more. "Behind The Vinyl" will take a look at albums and other music projects of the past, giving them a fresh look with modern eyes, look at projects fans overlooked, and much more. "Beyond The Norms" will take a deep look into how independent artists are able to make it without being signed to a major label. In addition to the new series, NewsSphere will continue to provide the latest breaking news regarding independent music and select mainstream artists in the near future and beyond.
This new focus will allow NewsSphere to grow in an underrepresented space, becoming the voice of a voiceless end of the music industry. NewsSphere looks forward to their next chapter, as they look to expand and become a respected independent source for independent music coverage all around the world.
