The Liner Notes is an independent news site, founded as NewsSphere on April 2, 2025, to provide accurate, reliable, yet speedy coverage of a wide variety of news topics. As of May 1, 2026, this site has shifted its focus towards the music industry, specifically independent music with occasional discussion on the bigger names in the industry. As of May 28, 2026, it has changed its name from NewsSphere to The Liner Notes., as NewsSphere is now the parent brand/umbrella that The Liner Notes falls under.
