WWE is in flux at this moment in time.
While some fan favorites such as Rhea Ripley, Penta, and Trick Williams currently hold belts across RAW and SmackDown, there have been a great many creative decisions that have been made under the direction of TKO that have not been as beloved as they would've hoped.
With that, we are resetting the landscape of the WWE, by having a WWE draft to change how both main roster brands operate, offering fresh blood on both sides, and everything in-between to ensure that each brand can have excitement every single week, as well as having incredible matches on the grandest of stages during each of the PLEs throughout the year.
With all of that being said, however, the ground rules for this overall reset need to be established before getting to the actual draft itself.
When Does The Reset Start?

The last WWE draft occurred on April 26 and April 29, 2024, just three weeks after WrestleMania XL, which is considered to be one of the greatest WrestleManias that WWE has ever put together. The draft happened the week before and then the week of Backlash 2024, which occurred on May 4, 2024. The results of the draft were then put into effect officially, beginning with the May 6, 2024 edition of Monday Night RAW.
For purposes of this reset that is about to occur, in this fantasy universe, it will take place on the first episodes of Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown that occur after Clash in Italy, which would mean June 1 and June 5 respectively, with the draft occuring on the Clash in Italy go-home shows the week before. With this setup, the fully-announced Clash in Italy match card that was set in stone officially as of the May 25 episode of Monday Night RAW can take place in this fantasy universe without any issues.
Who Is Excluded From The Draft?

Any current champions across RAW and SmackDown that have title belts exclusive to each respective brand will be excluded from the draft, meaning that those champions will remain on their respective brands holding down their belts. For Monday Night RAW, this would mean the following champions are excluded from the draft:
Roman Reigns | World Heavyweight Champion
Liv Morgan | Women's World Champion
Penta | Men's Intercontinental Champion
Becky Lynch | Women's Intercontinental Champion
The Vision (Logan Paul, Austin Theory, & Bron Breakker) | Men's World Tag Team Champions
For Friday Night SmackDown, this would mean the following champions are excluded from the draft:
Cody Rhodes | Undisputed WWE Champion
Rhea Ripley | WWE Women's Champion
Trick Williams | Men's United States Champion
Tiffany Stratton | Women's United States Champion
Damian Priest and R-Truth | WWE Men's Tag Team Champions
It is important to note that Brie Bella and Paige, the current WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, will be eligible for the draft, due to the fact that the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship is not exclusive to a singular brand, and that teams from both brands are allowed to contest for the title. Therefore, Brie and Paige, and by extension Brie's sister Nikki, will be eligible for the draft. However, they will be drafted together, meaning whichever brand gets Brie, for example, will also get Paige and Nikki at the same time.
Who Is Eligible For The Draft?

Any active WWE superstar on Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown, that has not already been excluded from the draft, is eligible. In addition, any superstars that are officially listed by WWE on their website as Free Agents that either are Free Agents floating between brand or have not officially announced retirement that have not already been mentioned will be eligible for the draft. Therefore, people like Danhausen and AJ Lee will be eligible for the draft. Finally, anyone currently in NXT is eligible for the draft as well, with any current superstars and new people from ID, Evolved, or other sources are eligible to be sent to NXT.
With all of this in mind, we could see someone like Jimmy Uso returning to SmackDown, or the Queen Charlotte Flair heading to RAW. The possibilities for this fantasy universe WWE Draft are endless and will be exciting to build out over a long period of time.
The Fantasy WWE Universe Begins Now

This is just one series that will be a part of the package of originally-crafted content that Best of the Chief will offer. It will be greatly exciting to build this fantasy universe out over the next several months, and it will be fun to build out as if it were Best of the Chief running the WWE as a whole.
