As of the May 25 episode of Monday Night RAW, the full match card for Clash in Italy has been set and stone. From one of the most anticipated rematches in WWE history, to the other four matches on the card having championship belts on the line, Clash in Italy is shaping up to be a WrestleMania-esque level of match quality when everything is all set and done.
With that, it is time to go through the entire match card and predict how Best of the Chief believes that all of the matches will ultimately end up, in order of how we believe the matches we will be ordered during the broadcast of the PLE itself.
Oba Femi vs Brock Lesnar 2

Femi vs Lesnar, Becky Lynch vs Sol Ruca, and Roman Reigns vs Jacob Fatu have been announced as the three matches that will appear in the first hour of Clash in Italy that will be broadcasted on the main ESPN TV channel, with the other two matches (Rhea Ripley vs Jade Cargill and Cody Rhodes vs Gunther) being exclusively broadcasted on the ESPN app via the Unlimited plan. With that, Oba vs Lesnar 2 is the likely match that will open the PLE, in a similar manner to how it opened Night 2 of WrestleMania 42.
Moving now to specifically looking at Oba vs Lesnar 2, many members of the WWE community were shocked when Brock Lesnar made a surprise return on the May 18 edition of Monday Night RAW, attacking Oba Femi and setting the stage for a contract to be eventually signed for a rematch to occur at Clash in Italy, which leads to one of the most anticipated rematches in WWE history.
On the one hand, Oba Femi has been on a hot streak as of late. With his series of Open Challenges on Monday Night RAW proving his dominance inside the ring, there is no doubt that Femi is destined for a championship belt sooner rather than later. On the other hand, however, Brock Lesnar will be going into this matchup with something to prove. He'll want to prove that he is still the exceptionally powerful Beast Incarnate that the WWE Universe knows he can be, as was stated during Lesnar's pre-recorded promo on the May 25 edition of Monday Night RAW.
With all of that being said, Brock Lesnar will come through and slay The Ruler in Italy, setting up a third and final match in the near future, perhaps at SummerSlam in Lesnar's home state of Minnesota. Lesnar will awaken the parts of the Beast Incarnate that he has hidden away for some time, in order to ensure that Femi does not beat him again, which will make Femi realize that he perhaps severely underestimated the true power that the Beast had buried deep inside of him.
Women's Intercontinental Championship Match | Becky Lynch (c) vs Sol Ruca

Following being disqualified from her non-title match against Sol Ruca at Saturday Night's Main Event 44 on May 23 due to moving referee Jessika Carr into the line of fire for Ruca's Sol Snatcher, Monday Night RAW General Manager Adam Pearce forced Becky Lynch to fight Ruca once again at Clash in Italy, with the Women's Intercontinental Championship on the line this time.
Lynch, as a result, has been irate with Pearce since, going on her usual rants about corruption and everything in-between. Therefore, she will be willing to do whatever it takes to retain her title. For Sol Ruca, the opportunity is right in front of her to Sol Snatcher the Women's Intercontinental Championship away from The Man.
From a narrative perspective, a reasonable argument could be made for both women to be the one to win in Italy. However, if WWE wants to pull the trigger and ride the waves and have Sol Ruca becoming a champion, this is the time and place to do it.
World Heavyweight Championship & Tribal Combat Match | Roman Reigns (c & OTC) vs Jacob Fatu

Out of all the matches on the Clash in Italy match card, this is the one that many WWE fans are excited for. Not only is the World Heavyweight Championship on the line, but the title of Tribal Chief, head of The Bloodline, is also on the line.
The last time Tribal Combat was invoked, Solo Sikoa attempted to cement himself as Tribal Chief on the first episode of Monday Night RAW to ever air live on Netflix back on January 6, 2025, following Roman Reigns' loss of the WWE Universal Championship to Cody Rhodes during the WrestleMania XL Night Two main event. However, Reigns ultimately prevailed, securing the Ula Fala for himself once again. This was also the result of the first-ever Tribal Combat match that occurred in 2023 between Reigns and Jey Uso.
With these historical stats in mind, many WWE fans believe this Tribal Combat match at Clash in Italy will be no different. However, anyone paying attention won't be able to deny the fact that WWE has positioned Jacob Fatu in such a manner that, if he were to win Sunday at Clash in Italy and become the new World Heavyweight Champion and Tribal Chief, the entire Bloodline storyline would have new blood poured right into it, creating new choatic storyline possibilities in the process.
All of this being said, Jacob Fatu will get his revenge from Backlash and will take the titles of World Heavyweight Champion and Tribal Chief away from the OTC Roman Reigns, ushering in a choatic and dangerous new era for The Bloodline and Monday Night RAW, which will be a nightmare for everyone, as Reigns alluded to when speaking with RAW General Manager Adam Pearce during the May 25 episode of Monday Night RAW.
WWE Women's Championship Match | Rhea Ripley (c) vs Jade Cargill

The WWE Women's Championship Match at Clash in Italy, a rematch from WrestleMania 42 Night Two, is one of the more fascinating matches on the card for fans to predict.
Back at Saturday Night's Main Event 44 on May 23, the team of Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin defeated the team of Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss, which has made many WWE fans believe that this was a tease for Cargill taking back the WWE Women's Championship from Ripley at Clash in Italy.
However, Rhea Bloodly Ripley will retain the championship against Cargill. With Cargill, the range of realistic opponets she could have as champion at this time is quite limited. In addition, many fans consider Cargill's matches to be among some of the less enjoyable ones whenever she was booked to defend the title. Meanwhile, with Ripley, she has an excellent range of opponets that could go after the belt that make narrative sense, including Flair, Bliss, all three members of Fatal Influence, and even Iyo Sky if she were to ever come over to SmackDown. On top of this, Ripley is considered to be one of the most physical women's wrestlers the WWE main roster has to offer, which makes each and every one of her matches some of the most entertaining on any card she's booked on.
Undisputed WWE Championship Match | Cody Rhodes (c) vs Gunther

In what is likely the main event of Clash in Italy, The American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes, will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against one of the newest members of Friday Night SmackDown, The Ring General Gunther, also known as The Career Killer.
Rhodes is in his third reign as Undisputed WWE Champion, trying to defend his title against the man who retired legends such as John Cena, Goldberg, and most recently, the phenomenal AJ Styles. Rhodes has proven he can be a very respected and proven champion, having defeated the likes of Roman Reigns, Cena, and Drew McIntyre to achieve each of the three reigns that he has had with the title.
However, The Ring General has plenty of tricks up his sleeve, and he will use every single one of them, including his signature Sleeper Hold to end things off, to dethrone The American Nightmare and become the new Undisputed WWE Champion, which will be his fifth championship reign across his time with WWE as a whole. With Gunther becoming the new Undisputed WWE Champion, it opens up for a very chaotic and unique title reign that could be remembered for years to come, if WWE executes it properly.
